After buying the building in 2013, owner Al Fritz completely gutted and restored the building to some of its original beautiful features.

Starting with the original brick walls, come run your fingers across 100-year-old brick built by our own Wyandotte ancestors.

Run your feet across the 100-year-old restored wooden floors which have been newly sanded and ready to withstand another 100 years of foot traffic.

Match that with the reclaimed lumber from Detroit that makes our table tops into the fantastic community tables that mimic early 20’s English boarding school cafeteria tables. Alvi’s BBQ has all the captivating qualities of history that take you back to the times of hard work, quality, and ease.
